What's KoreaEpicRide?
KoreaEpicRide is a self-support bikepacking event.
It is NOT a race.
It is a group ride, you start the first day of the event at the same time, however you decide where to eat and where to sleep. Wild camping or commercial campsites are recommended. You can use the restaurant or buy groceries on the route.
No one watches whether you follow these rules or not.
We leave it to your conscience.
It's not a race!
We want you to experience the freedom and enjoyment that cycling offers through outdoor activities related to cycling. We pursuit activities that allow more people to gain these experiences.
There are two divisions.
-Epic 500
: Length 520km, elevation gain 13,400m
(42%,about 216 km is paved, and 58%, about 304 km is unpaved.)
- Epic 300
: Length 297km, elevation gain 7,000m
(37%, about 111km is paved, and 63%,about 186 km is unpaved.)
No fee.
You don't need to pay participation fee.
This event is operated by yourselves and volunteers.
