Epic 500

It is a 520km long, 13,400m elevation gain route from Chuncheon, Gangwon-do to Uljin, Gyeongsangbuk-do. 

The route consists mainly of concrete paved roads and unpaved forest roads in the countryside, but there are also general roads with occasional vehicle traffic.    About 42% (about 216 km) is paved, and about 58% (about 304 km) is unpaved.

Participants are responsible for all eating, drinking and sleeping during the event on their own without third party support.

Blockers are installed at the entrance to forest roads to prevent vehicles from entering. Bicycles are allowed to enter during periods other than the prohibition of entry.

Epic Rider could celebrate yourself at the 'Coffee bang' finish point.    However, opening hours of the coffee bang is belows.

- Monday: 12:00 noon to 5:00 PM

- Tuesday to Sunday: 10:00 am to 10:00 pm
